"Hereford Cattle - Moms and Calves"
Here's a video I did of a bunch of the Hereford cows and calves that are at the ranch I was recently caretaker for in Northern California, while my friend, who is the ranch manager was away on vacation with her family.
Accordin' to a Google search . . . "More than five million pedigree Herefords exist in over 50 countries. The origin of the Hereford is lost in the mists of time but it is generally agreed that it was founded on the draught ox descended from the small red cattle of Roman Briton and from a large Welsh breed once numerous along the border of England and Wales. The characteristics of the modern Hereford were implanted by a group of breeders more than 200 years ago. Herefords will stand out in the arctic snows of Finland, endure the heat of Northern Transvaal, withstand the tough climate and rough grazing of northern Uruguay or the subtropical zones of Brazil and continue to thrive." . . . and, AND the calves are so darn CUTE!! LOL
The song I used is "Cattle Call" by Eddie Arnold . . . if you have any CATS in the house, watch their reaction as this video plays . . . the cats in the ranch house, where I was creating this YouTube video, were REALLY curious as to what the yodeling in the song was all about! LOL
