Double Bass Quintuplets
I'm practicing quintuplets with the feet here, pushing the tempo to see at what speed it's stil controlable.
A quintuplet is five strokes per count. On the first count the Right Foot starts. The RF plays three strokes and the LF plays two strokes (3+2=5). The second count starts with LF and this time the LF plays three strokes and the RF plays two strokes. So it's RLRLR LRLRL RLRLR LRLRL.
The metronome is set to 176 quarter notes, 176*5=880 devided by four is 220, so the quintuplets are the same speed as 16th @ 220bpm.
