Misery
This is a tribute to the wonderful Kathy Bates in the Stephen King classic Misery (1990).
Paul Sheldon is a very successful writer who has just finished his last of seven novels about a romantic heroine named Misery Chastain. He decides to move on and start on a new book, Fast Cars. But on his way to the airport he is caught in a bad snowstorm and swerves off the road. When he awakes he finds out that he was saved by ex-nurse Annie Wilkes. But he soon discovers that Annie is a complete psychopath who will stop at nothing to prevent Paul from ever escaping her home.
This film is awesome and one of my all-time favourites. Annie Wilkes is by far the best villain. If you see the film you will understand just how much of a complete psychopath she is. I love her!
The book is even better than the film, it has a lot more in it and goes into much detail. It is written from Paul's perspective (First Person). If you haven't read it, you should!
